| Replace
obsolete surface-aeration equipment with a modern O²ctopus® diffused
air system, at NO CAPITAL COST.
If you depend on older surface-aeration equipment to operate
your plant, and if you have at least 6-feet of operating depth in your
basins, consider upgrading to a modern O²ctopus® fine-bubble diffusion
system.
All stainless construction, the O²ctopus® system is already in use in plants
around North America, to boost dissolved oxygen, improve mixing, and reduce
electrical operating costs.
Each O²ctopus® unit is designed to introduce
diffused air into your basin, at the lowest possible depth. Each unit
uses a 4-ft.-wide floatation pod.
From the pod, air is distributed equally through eight legs, extended
as deep into the water as possible. At the bottom of each leg, air
is sent through a fine-bubble tubular diffuser. Bubbles ascend slowly through
the
water, ascending slowly to MIX and AERATE your wastewater from the
lowest
possible depth.
Rather than spraying water at the surface,
the O²ctopus® system
takes the air deep into your basin. Fine bubbles produced from diffusers
placed as deep as possible contribute to significant operating efficiencies,
better mixing, and reduced operating costs. The O²ctopus® system
delivers the necessary aeration to your system at a fraction of the
cost of surface aerators.
No capital cost to you
Upgrade now at no capital cost. FBC’s engineers will analyze your current treatment process to determine if you can benefit from an O²ctopus® system. After evaluating your current system, FBC will prepare a proposal that indicates the electrical savings of upgrading your system from surface aeration to an O²ctopus® diffused air system.
(EPDM helix, HDPE liner) and all fittings are custom fabricated from 304 stainless steel. At the bottom of each leg we attach a tubular fine bubble diffuser. For installations lacking space but requiring high aeration, we attach two diffusers at each point.
What’s
the catch?
FBC will offer the complete conversion of your system, including
removal of old equipment, for a portion of the energy savings you’ll get by making the switch. We’ll take responsibility for the maintenance of the system, including diffusers, hoses and blowers, in exchange for 60% of the electrical savings. If you WERE spending $10,000 a month on electricity to operate your old system, and the savings are $5,000 per month, FBC will invoice you for 60% of the amount you saved. You are out-of-pocket NOTHING by making the upgrade…..and,
after you do the math, you have actually paid yourself to improve your
plant.
